MAKING A DIFFERENCE
“It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” Ephesians 2:10 (LB)
People are on earth for a reason. We are not here just to consume. We are here to make a contribution to someone else. At Cypress we believe God uses people (us) to help others know Him and want to live for Him. We call the process of helping others know God and encouraging them to want to live for God “ministry.” Ministry is two-fold: it helps the individual by bringing fulfillment to their life and it helps the one being ministered to by allowing them to see God in another person.
Cypress has many opportunities for people to get involved in ministry. Check out our ministry opportunities and then participate in one. God will start making a difference in your life and in the life of the one you are helping.
